School-Days-Off Camp: Plants and Pollinators

May 19 , 9:00 AM 3:30 PM EDT

School-Days-Off Camp: Where Days Off Become Days of Discovery.

When schools are closed, Stroud Water Research Center is open for young nature explorers. Our School-Days-Off Camps invite third- through fifth-grade students to spend a fun-filled day outdoors along White Clay Creek. Each camp features a unique theme with nature-inspired crafts, hands-on science experiments, and outdoor adventures that spark curiosity and wonder.

The theme for the May School-Days-Off Camp is Plants and Pollinators. Campers will learn about native plants and the pollinators that support them. Campers will hike through the Stroud Center’s forest, searching for native plants, create plant and pollinator crafts, and perform hands-on experiments.
