You must RSVP in order to attend.\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP Now\n\n\n\n\nIn 2021\, Emily Ford set out to thru-hike Wisconsin’s 1\,200-mile Ice Age Trail in winter in subzero temperatures\, becoming the first woman and person of color to complete this challenge. Breaking Trail is an award-winning 30-minute film that shares the story of Ford’s adventures along with her borrowed sled dog Diggins. After the film\, attendees will have the opportunity to hear about Ford’s experiences firsthand\, and then participate in a Q&A.  \n\n\n\n\nSponsored by \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThrough the Nancy Petersen Grantmaking Fund for Chester County \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHeld in memory of Joan and Dick Stroud\, co-founders of Stroud Water Research Center\, this lecture series allows us to share with our friends and the general public a special evening with speakers who will both enlighten and entertain — sharing their research and their perspectives on subjects from watershed ecology to conservation and more.
