DESCRIPTION:When: Wednesday\, April 17\, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.Where: Stroud Water Research Center\, 970 Spencer Road\, Avondale PA 19311 (map below)Cost: free\, includes light breakfast and lunch. \n\n\n\nThis workshop will focus on usage of Model My Watershed in real-life case study examples. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Lunch will be a working session and discussion from 12:00-1:00. \n\n\n\nModel My Watershed is a watershed-modeling web app that enables citizens\, conservation practitioners\, municipal decision-makers\, educators\, and students to \n\n\n\n\nAnalyze real land use and soil data in their neighborhoods and watersheds\n\n\n\nModel stormwater runoff and water-quality impacts using professional-grade models\n\n\n\nCompare how different conservation or development scenarios could modify runoff and water quality\n\n\n\n\nPlease contact David Bressler with questions. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nModel My Watershed is part of the WikiWatershed toolkit. The toolkit currently includes six tech resources: Model My Watershed\, Monitor My Watershed\, Runoff Simulation\, EnviroDIY stream sensors\, Leaf Pack Network\, and Water Quality Mobile App.
