SUMMARY:Mapping MWEEs in Pennsylvania's STEELS Standards
DESCRIPTION:When: Monday\, October 28\, 2024\, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.\n\n\n\nWhere: Stroud Water Research Center\, 970 Spencer Road\, Avondale\, PA 19311.\n\n\n\nCost: Free\, including lunch.\n\n\n\nCredits: Six Act 48 continuing education hours will be provided for Pa. Certified Teachers.\n\n\n\n\nDress comfortably and for the weather. The event is rain or shine. \n\n\n\nJoin us at Stroud Water Research Center\, where we will examine the Pennsylvania Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, Environmental Literacy\, and Sustainability (STEELS) K–12 Standards\, with a focus on the environmental literacy and sustainability standards.  \n\n\n\nWe’ll explore identifying natural phenomena\, shifts in practices\, and cross-cutting concepts specific to STEELS. Participants will engage in outdoor learning experiences and leverage these experiences for their own Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience (MWEE) project. \n\n\n\nQuestions?
