Learning Objectives

  • Gain the knowledge, skills, and processes to be able to lead Pa. MWEE Introduction, Certified Ambassador, Supplemental Content & Field Skills, and Certified Educator professional development, as approved by the  Pa. Environmental Literacy Steering Committee.
  • Plan a model MWEE to learn how to assist local school districts and nonformal environmental education providers to use the MWEE Environmental Learning Model (ELM) and the STEELS standards to plan and implement MWEEs.

Facilitator Requirements

To become a Pa. MWEE Certified Facilitator, participants must attend all three virtual sessions and the one in-person session and then co-plan and lead their first Pa. MWEE-related professional development program with a  Pa. MWEE Certified Facilitator Trainer.
