Interests and Expertise
Michael Gentile runs the analytical chemistry section of Stroud Water Research Center’s laboratory including operation and maintenance of instruments analyzing and measuring carbohydrates, organic acids, anions, cations, nutrients, dissolved organic carbon, 13C-DOC, and amino acids. He also assists with field sampling, sample processing, and bioreactor operations. Gentile speaks Spanish and has been the primary technician for studies in Costa Rica and Peru.
