Stroud Water Research Center provided the educational programming for Reading the River: The Science of the Schuylkill, for the 11th annual Schuylkill River Sojourn. In an effort to increase interest in and stewardship of the river, and to explain the impact of various land uses on it, Stroud Center scientists and educators discussed the history, science, and health of the Schuylkill River watershed, and conducted water chemistry and quality tests throughout the 112-mile sojourn.
