Professional Development Workshop
When: Wednesday, January 30, 3:45 to 6:45 p.m.
Where: Chester County Intermediate Unit, 455 Boat Road, Downingtown PA 19335
Audience: Early childhood (Pre-K–2) teachers of students with disabilities. Early childhood and regular education teachers with inclusive settings. Also appropriate for early childhood administrators and staff. This event is not relevant to short-term and day-to-day substitutes.
Cost: Free attendance and ACT 48 hours for CCIU subscribers (Chester County public school district employees); non-subscribers (all other participants) must pay a registration fee if they want ACT 48 hours.
Workshop cost is subsidized by a Pennsylvania Watershed Education Capacity Building grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
This workshop features the new “Getting Little Feet Wet” national curriculum guide from Project WET. We’ll do a handful of the 11 interactive hands-on activities that explore different aspects of water from the guide designed for Pre-K and K-2 educators. All participants will receive a copy of the curriculum guide.
