Avondale, Pa. – On Wednesday, March 11th, 2009, Stroud Water Research Center’s education department will present The Power of Photography: An Evening with Bob Caputo. A Chester County resident, Caputo is also a world traveler, adventurer, and twenty-eight-year veteran photographer for National Geographic magazine.
Caputo will present images from his travels and share his insights and perspective on an innovative education program he helped Stroud Center educators produce called Mountaintop to Tap.
“Our education lecture series is a great vehicle to introduce new audiences to the watershed education programs we offer,” said Susan Gill, Director of Education at the Stroud Center. “For more than 17 years, our programs have been helping students, teachers, watershed associations, and conservation groups alike become more knowledgeable and better environmental stewards.”
