There was sunshine aplenty during the 10th Annual Fore Fresh Water Golf Invitational! Golfers enjoyed a windy but sunny day at Bidermann Golf Course as Stroud Water Research Center celebrated clean fresh water and raised important funds for freshwater research, environmental education, and watershed restoration.
The wind may or may not have been used as an excuse for some of the shots viewed throughout the course. Golfers competed in two different formats and enjoyed a variety of snacks and beverages donated by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Open Water, Dogfish Head Brewery, Landhope Farms, Waywood Beverage, Herr’s Foods, and Wegmans.
Fun was had throughout the course, whether it was the foursome cheering as they scored a perfect putt in the putting contest sponsored by P&S Daughters, or the foursomes doing their best to beat the pro, Audre Fasunaugh, at hole 16.
The Stroud Center is grateful to its wonderful golf committee and the many sponsors, in-kind donors, and volunteers who made this event successful.
