You’ve planted your trees, but your job isn’t over yet! Stroud Center Watershed Restoration Manager David Wise will discuss the next steps you must take to ensure a successful buffer planting. Learn tips and tricks from the Stroud Center’s research on installation and maintenance practices.
After the lecture, attendees will have the opportunity to ask the experts about buffers during a Q&A. The panel will include Wise along with Cody Kiefer, a city of Lancaster urban forester; and Ashley Spotts, Lancaster restoration biologist for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. The panelists will offer a wide range of perspectives, whether you are looking to plant a few select trees in your quarter-acre yard or to implement a 30-acre reforestation project.
