Turning Your Grounds Into a Classroom!

When: Wednesday, June 20, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where: Longwood Gardens
Cost: $30 per person. Registration is limited to 30 educators.
Learn from Longwood Gardens and Stroud Water Research Center about how you can turn your school grounds or your classroom into an environmentally-based STEM learning spot. Learn about leaf packs and rain gardens, and receive valuable tips about getting kids into nature. You will have the opportunity to learn how to utilize these topics in your classrooms.
Included in the $30 registration fee:
- Instructional materials* to take back to your classroom or non-formal instructional setting
- Act 48 credit for qualifying participants
- Lunch
*Funding for take-home instructional materials provided by the NOAA Pennsylvania Watershed Education Capacity Building grant.
