When Schools Are Closed, Stroud Water Research Center Is Open for Young Nature Explorers
Our School-Days-Off Camp invites third- through fifth-grade students to spend a fun-filled day outdoors along White Clay Creek. Each day features a unique theme with nature-inspired crafts, hands-on science experiments, and outdoor adventures that spark curiosity and wonder.

- School-Days-Off Camp: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Before Care: 8 to 9 a.m.
- After Care: 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Cost
- School-Days-Off Camp: $100/child/day
- Before and After Care: $10/child/day

Boots-in-the-Water Summer Camps
Information about summer camps at the Stroud Center, including a weeklong summer camp for students entering third through fifth grade, will be available soon.
Educators don’t need to miss out on the fun! During a weeklong summer camp, educators will improve their environmental education practices and participate in outdoor field experiences, while earning Act 48 hours.
