Volunteers Lend a Helping Hand

640 360 Stroud Water Research Center

National Volunteer Week and Corporate Days of Service gave Stroud Water Research Center a helping hand throughout April and May. We are so grateful for the participation of individuals and companies who took time out of their day to help us out.

These volunteers gave more than 300 hours to help us plant over 1,200 trees, complete two outdoor classrooms, and help prepare a site for a new research experiment.

Thank you to Dansko, Exelon Generation, and Voya Financial for making the Stroud Center the focus of your respective Days of Service and to Willistown Conservation Trust and their volunteers for partnering with us for one of the restoration projects.

A special shout-out to the team from Voya Financial for sticking with us even though the weather did not cooperate. With all of the rainy weather we had in April and May, we are just grateful we only had one rainy day out of the four volunteer days!
