Model My Watershed Case Studies Workshop

When: Wednesday, April 17, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Stroud Water Research Center, 970 Spencer Road, Avondale PA 19311 (map below)
Cost: free, includes light breakfast and lunch.
This workshop will focus on usage of Model My Watershed in real-life case study examples. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Lunch will be a working session and discussion from 12:00-1:00.
Model My Watershed is a watershed-modeling web app that enables citizens, conservation practitioners, municipal decision-makers, educators, and students to
- Analyze real land use and soil data in their neighborhoods and watersheds
- Model stormwater runoff and water-quality impacts using professional-grade models
- Compare how different conservation or development scenarios could modify runoff and water quality

Model My Watershed is part of the WikiWatershed toolkit. WikiWatershed is an initiative of Stroud Water Research Center and was designed to help citizens, conservation practitioners, municipal decision-makers, researchers, educators, and students advance knowledge and stewardship of fresh water.
