Stroud Water Research Center congratulates our friends at The Farm at Doe Run on winning multiple awards at the 2023 Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg. Their Black Swallowtail, St. Malachi, English Cream, and Hummingbird cheeses all placed in their categories, with Black Swallowtail taking home a third-place Best in Show award. 

The Farm at Doe Run produces some of Pennsylvania’s most sought-after creative cheeses, including the Mayfly, a Camembert-style cheese with a bloomy rind. They focus on simple, sustainable farming and being true stewards of the land and donate 10% of the proceeds from the Mayfly to the Stroud Center.
