Coming to Your Site Soon: The Watershed Education Mobile Lab!

800 450 Stroud Water Research Center

As a new initiative to increase accessibility to our education programs, Stroud Water Research Center will soon be able to travel to your school, community, or group location to deliver meaningful watershed education programming. The Watershed Education Mobile Lab will be outfitted with a full set of instructional materials, such as microscopes and equipment for monitoring water quality, creating hands-on experiences that build awareness and connections to local waterways. We hope to start delivering programs with the new Watershed Education Mobile Lab this fall!

We thank our initial sponsors for jumpstarting this initiative: Pa. American Water, E. Kneale Dockstader Foundation, Pa. Department of Environmental Protection’s Environmental Education Grants Program, National Park Trust, Burkholder Mfg. Inc., and Full Throttle Wraps and Graphics.

If you or your organization would like to contribute to the yearly operating program costs to deliver mobile lab programs, please contact Education Director Steve Kerlin, Ph.D.
