Veronica Ashby

Veronica Ashby

Veronica is a rising 10th grader interested in cross country running and singing.

Her thoughts about being involved in the trek:
“I want to go on this trek because it’s a chance for me to help out a community other than my own. It also gives me a chance to try something new. I hope that the trek will help me better appreciate the rivers and resources we have and not to abuse them.”

Her thoughts about being involved in the trek:
“My experience [with Coatesville Youth Initiative] was also rewarding because I was able to help less fortunate people than myself, which made the experience a mutual and shared one. Meaningful work benefits the world as well as those who receive service. I look forward to having a meaningful work experience with the Brandywine River trek. I hope to learn more about nature and the sense of the outdoors.”
