Interests and Expertise

Matt aids in the preparation, construction, and maintenance of forest buffers. He provides technical assistance in tracking and analyzing previously implemented buffers through the usage of ArcGIS, MapShed’s GWLF-E, Model My Watershed, and FieldDoc. Matt’s usual day-to-day schedule includes working with volunteers and contractors to install and/or maintain forested buffers, clearing invasive species as a form of maintenance or site preparation, or organizing records and project runoff reduction data.
