Corporate Partnerships

Stroud Water Research Center offers an exceptional opportunity for companies to meet their corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals while making a meaningful impact on freshwater conservation.

Scientists Marc Peipoch, Ph.D., and Diana Oviedo Vargas, Ph.D., gather stream data.

By partnering with the Stroud Center, companies support cutting-edge, independent research on freshwater ecosystems, the next generation of STEM scientists, and real-time solutions to water quality issues impacting us all. The Stroud Center’s science-driven approach ensures that corporate contributions directly contribute to improving water quality and conserving vital freshwater resources, benefiting both the environment and society.

This partnership fosters long-term, positive change, making it an ideal avenue for companies seeking to align their business practices with social and environmental values.

Offer a Team Building Volunteer Day

Sponsor a volunteer activity for your team. Opportunities range from data collection and maintenance of tree plantings to creating outreach activities for our teams to use.

Educational Improvement Tax Credit

The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program allows Pennsylvania-based businesses and Special Purpose Entities (SPEs) to receive generous tax credits by contributing to qualified educational organizations. As a recipient of EITC funds, Stroud Water Research Center makes its school programs, field trips, and professional development workshops available to Pennsylvania public school districts at no or reduced cost.
