In Episode 3 of our 2022 Science Seminar Series, Mike Hartshorne, director of ecological services at Princeton Hydro (and former Stroud Water Research Center intern!), shared the story of a yearlong community science project along the Schuylkill River designed to document the river’s ecological health through a volunteer survey and scientific water quality assessment. Princeton Hydro led this project in partnership with many nonprofit organizations from throughout the region.
The Stroud Center has been conducting research on the Schuylkill River for decades. Explore our Schuylkill River Project and Delaware River Watershed Initiative pages for more information.
