Stroud Water Research Center’s Executive Director, David Arscott, Ph.D., recently spoke with members of the Christina River Basin Task Force on a tour of Hoopes’ farm. Hoopes’ farm is one of several sites Stroud Center scientists studied to determine how well best management practices on farms may protect drinking-water sources from pollution. It was also the first project under drinking-water supplier SUEZ in Delaware’s Watershed Control Plan, a plan that was approved by the Environmental Protection Agency.
