The Southwest Association of Freshwater Invertebrate Taxonomists (SAFIT) workshop this year will focus on the aquatic Hemiptera/Heteroptera and will be presented by Dan Polhemus of the Bishop Museum, Honolulu, Hawaii. There will also be a section on taxonomic updates.
Cost to attend is $300 for SAFIT members and $400 for non-members. Current students may apply for a scholarship to have the workshop fee waived. Students and staff from UC-Davis may attend all or part of the workshop for free, but please notify Bob Wisseman that you will be doing so to make sure we have enough room.
For more information or to register, visit the SAFIT workshop event page.
