This workshop provides a basic foundation for understanding the role that riparian forest buffers play in stream health. We will discuss stream ecology, long-term restoration work in small watersheds, and current research about forest buffer establishment. Please wear closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather, as we will tour the meadow and restoration reaches of White Clay Creek.

This is the first of two unique workshops geared toward different audiences. However, you are welcome to register for both! The second workshop will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026.
