This workshop will teach how to manage an EnviroDIY sensor station. We'll visit several sensor stations so that attendees can get first-hand experience.
Taxonomic certification exams will be offered in conjunction with a week-long seminar, “EPT Taxa: Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera, and Trichoptera,” at Eagle Hill Institute in Steuben, Maine.
WEI is like camp for teachers: you’ll be immersed in nature, collect water samples, paddle waterways, reflect and journal on the dock, and much more!

This new 100-level workshop will focus on abiotic and biotic stream characteristics in natural, urban, and agricultural settings.

Taking our boots to the stream, we’ll experience hands-on examination of leaf packs with live aquatic macroinvertebrates, including their identification, and take a look at the Leaf Pack Network® website.
