The event will feature soil health and water quality research as part of a new six-year project comparing organic, conventional and conservation farming systems. Scientists from Stroud™ Water Research Center and Rodale Institute will discuss and demonstrate various measurements and instruments in-field, below ground, and in-stream. We will also discuss organic versus conventional farming issues, as well as the restoration of streamside forest buffers.
Dress for the weather. Some walking will be required, although some participants can ride in a provided vehicle.
