Fall Tree Planting I
October 13, 2017 , 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM EDT
When: Friday, October 13. Rain or shine! Planting begins at 1 p.m. Approximate end time is 4 p.m.
Where: Near Coatesville, Pennsylvania. Registration required to learn exact location.
Healthy forests are essential to the life-support systems of our streams. Trees filter contaminants before they reach the water, stabilize the stream bank, and provide food, shade, and habitat for fish and wildlife!
Help the Stroud Center restore our local streams by planting trees. Groups are welcome and car pooling is encouraged. Bring gloves and shovels if you have them! Dress for the worst weather, but expect the best. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Registration required to learn exact location.
Can’t make this date? We have year-round volunteer opportunities!
