Getting Hands-On Integrating Environmental Education

  • When: Thursday, June 23, 2022, 8:30 a.m.–3 p.m.
  • Where: Bayard Rustin High School, 1100 Shiloh Rd, West Chester, PA 19382.
  • Who: K–12 computer science teachers and administrators, special educators and administrators, STEM teachers and administrators, coaches, curriculum directors, librarians, and media specialists. Six hours of Act 48 are available for Pennsylvania Certified Teachers.
  • Cost: Free. Participants will receive instructional supplies to use in their classrooms and a $100 stipend.

Registration is limited to the first 25 participants.

Join us for a full day workshop at Bayard Rustin High School and Goose Creek. Attendees will work through the Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences (MWEE) framework while furthering their own knowledge of environmental literacy and stewardship.

Educators will go outdoors to engage in a hands-on learning experience while developing the skills to integrate MWEE into their own classrooms and schools. Following the workshop, attendees will be invited to further learning opportunities to become a Certified MWEE Ambassador!
