Watershed 201: Measuring Stream Discharge and Suspended Sediment

Where: Willistown Conservation Trust’s Rushton Conservation Center (map below)
Audience: Citizen scientists and professionals in the Delaware River Basin
Cost: FREE

Space is limited to 20 participants.

This workshop will cover rating curve development, measuring discharge, setting up an inexpensive lab to measure suspended sediment, collecting storm samples, and measuring suspended sediment.

Refreshments, light breakfast, and lunch will be provided. This will be a hands-on workshop and there will be a field component so attendees should bring hip or chest waders and be prepared to do measurements and record data.
