William Anderson

464 464 Stroud Water Research Center

Adjunct Research Associate

Environmental Educator

It was with great sadness that we said goodbye to our friend and colleague, William (Bill) Anderson, who died on September 22, 2017.

Bill was a lifelong science educator, having taught for many years at Wilmington Friends School, Avon Grove High School, and Unionville High School. He was a part-time Environmental Educator at the Stroud Center and also worked extensively with Denis Newbold, Ph.D., as an Adjunct Research Associate in the ecosystems processing group (now the Fluvial Geomorphology group), studying carbon transport in aquatic ecosystems.

Give the Gift of Fresh Water

As you give thanks for the gifts in your life, we invite you to give the gift of water. Clean drinking water, good health, happy trout, productive soil, clean air, the simple joys of swimming, boating, fishing — our healthy freshwater ecosystems make these and so many other things possible.

Your donation today will help preserve and protect
the future of fresh water.
