Avondale, Pa. – On Thursday, April 3rd, 2008, the Stroud Water Research Center, will present Liz Walker, the co-founder and executive director of EcoVillage at Ithaca (EVI). Ms. Walker’s lecture, entitled, EcoVillages: Pioneering a Sustainable Future by Conserving Land, Water, and Fossil Fuels, details why EVI has been described as a living laboratory and a model for sustainability projects around the world.

Ms. Walker, author of EcoVillage at Ithaca: Pioneering a Sustainable Culture, will be available for book signing after the lecture.
