Working with teachers at three Media, Pennsylvania, schools, Stroud Water Research Center educators demonstrated to hundreds of secondary school students practical solutions to reduce stormwater problems. Students incorporated their learning into artwork they designed and applied to 40 rain barrels,which were installed in public spaces throughout the borough of Media. The project culminated with a community workshop and demonstration of how rain barrels reduce the negative impacts of urban runoff.
