Years of Experience Make for a Seamless Transition

800 450 Stroud Water Research Center

For some, retiring means moving to the beach and taking it easy, but not at Stroud Water Research Center. Kay Dixon retired after 18 years in the Development Department but folks can still find her in her former office for a little while longer.

Kay is using her years of experience to train Rebecca Duczkowski in donor relations and database management. Rebecca moved from our Administration and Finance Department to ensure a seamless transition for the Friends of the Stroud Center. She looks forward to applying her seven years of experience at the Stroud Center to working with donors and volunteers. For those who haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Rebecca yet, you’ll find that another helpful and friendly person has moved into the donor relations position.

We wish Kay all the best in her retirement, but don’t be too surprised if you see her at an upcoming event! A good volunteer is a blessing, and we know we have one in Kay — when she’s not off traveling or spending time with her sons.
