Model My Watershed offers rapid visualization of watershed data, advanced geospatial analysis capabilities, and science-based predictions of human impacts on stormwater runoff and water quality.
Delaware River Basin citizen scientists and professionals will learn about rating curves, discharge and suspended sediment measurements, and storm sample collection.
This new 100-level workshop will focus on abiotic and biotic stream characteristics in natural, urban, and agricultural settings.
Participants will receive an overview of stream ecology and watershed concepts based on research done at the Stroud Center. Taking our boots to the stream, we’ll experience hands-on examination of leaf packs with live aquatic macroinvertebrates, including their identification, and take a look at the Leaf Pack Network® website.
We’ll demonstrate site features and functionality and cover how this open educational resource can be used to support macroinvertebrate identification training with volunteers and students to improve confidence, accuracy, and engagement.
