It was another sellout crowd at the 19th annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival, hosted by Trail Creek Outfitters. The film festival equally benefits Stroud Water Research Center and Brandywine Red Clay Alliance. Local restaurants and businesses donated a variety of food and drinks for moviegoers to enjoy during the cocktail reception. The movies highlighted a variety of issues and successes facing the environment.
Loyal attendees of the film festival over the years have seen many films advocating for dam removal on the Klamath River, and this year, the story came full circle with a film showing the successful undamming and a free-flowing Klamath River.

Filmgoers learned about tape on windows to prevent bird strikes, as well as its proven success in reducing collisions after it was applied at the Javits Center in New York City and the Smithsonian’s National Zoo in Washington, D.C. They enjoyed wondrous imagery of the moon, and heard a child’s take on conservation of our larger fauna.
