Meet Susan Fitzpatrick

636 400 Stroud Water Research Center

In June, Susan Fitzpatrick joined the Stroud Water Research Center team as executive administrative assistant to David Arscott, Ph.D. We asked her to introduce herself to our readers and she had this to share:

Susan Fitzpatrick and family

John and Susan Fitzpatrick with their sons Jack, Harry, and Thomas.

“I grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania, in the city of Wilkes-Barre, attended King’s College, also located in Wilkes-Barre, and that is where I met my husband John who, not being from Wilkes-Barre and being full of adventure, was able to pry me away from my large family. I still miss them! (Hi Mom!)”

“John and I moved around the state of Pennsylvania for a bit, and called Railroad, Wayne, and Broomall home prior to settling in Chester County, where we started our family and now have three sons, Jack (24), Harry (22), and Thomas (16). Over the years, we have had plenty of pets of the amphibious, furry, burrowing, and water-dependent type. Right now, we have two dogs, Bruno and Todd.”

“Professionally, I have years of experience providing support to administrators and executives in various career fields including finance, accounting, and most recently, higher education, working for the Vice Provost of Academic Affairs and Campus Operations at Delaware County Community College. The Stroud Center team has passion and unrelenting energy, and I am enthusiastic about contributing to the success of their mission!”

All of us here at the Stroud Center — especially Dave Arscott — are thrilled to have her organizational skills, energy, and enthusiasm.
